famous for its breathtaking landscape, Oman is becoming a popular destination for holidays and remote working. with the rising demand for small sustainable housing solution, i proposed a non-permanent structure, where it could provide energy without relying on existing power lines and autarky for two weeks.
inspired by local architecture and Bedouin tent culture, i wanted to create a space that could stimulate the human senses-seeing, touching, and feeling.
prefabricated walls, flooring, and roof structure are interconnected using an interlocking frame system, with the outer roof secured by external pegs for added stability. solar panels are installed on the exterior to supply sufficient power, connected to a battery inside the house. to maintain compact dimensions, a water tank with a recyclable water system can be brought to the site alongside the structure.
