rethink*rotor CreativeLab is an innovation platform by OX2architekten GmbH and the Department of Architecture at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, uniting experts from architecture, engineering, urban development, and design to drive cross-sector collaboration for a circular economy. We focus on “urban mining”; exploring possibilities using entire rotor blades as structural components in construction, leveraging their durability and material properties. This approach reduces demand for primary raw materials and promotes sustainable innovation across industries beyond wind energy.
The logo is represented by a sector and a quadrant. The sector is inspired by the initials of CreativeLab, which combined Darmstadt and Aachen. The quadrant was taken from the circle to form "R" and represent another way of thinking and to encourage innovation, which then also represents a person as the key to making a difference.
